We are working to:
Monitor Town Board, Planning Board, and related meeting agendas
Collect and share public documents
Encourage residents to join the coordinated response list
Ask the Town Board to review zoning in the area
Ask the Town Board to consider a temporary moratorium while that review is completed
Prepare for future Planning Board review if a formal application is submitted
Encourage respectful, fact-based comments from residents
Explore alternatives that would reduce density, preserve open space, or better protect the surrounding community
This is not about opposing responsible land use in general. It is about making sure that any proposal for this important property is reviewed carefully, transparently, and with the long-term interests of Cross River and Lewisboro residents in mind.
