Sign the Petition & Visit Us at the Library Fair
There are several ways to get involved with Preserve Lewisboro this month.
Sign the Petition to Preserve the Reynolds Property
Preserve Lewisboro has launched a petition calling for the permanent preservation of the nearly 15-acre Reynolds property at 831 Route 35 in Cross River.
A proposal to build a 14-lot subdivision on the property is currently before the Lewisboro Planning Board. We believe this is an important opportunity to protect open space, wildlife habitat, the Cross River/Croton watershed, and the historic character of Cross River.
The petition calls on public officials and conservation partners to pursue every reasonable opportunity to permanently preserve the property.
Please consider signing — and sharing the petition with friends and neighbors who care about the future of this property.
Visit Us at the Lewisboro Library Fair
Preserve Lewisboro will have a tent at the Lewisboro Library Fair on:
Saturday, September 19
10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Onatru Farm Park
Stop by to meet us, learn more about the Reynolds property and our other efforts, pick up Preserve Lewisboro materials, and talk with us about responsible planning and conservation in our community.
We’d especially like to meet people who have been following our emails and website but whom we haven’t yet had a chance to meet in person.
Volunteer at Our Tent
We’re also looking for a few volunteers to help staff the Preserve Lewisboro tent during the Fair.
You do not need to commit to the entire day. Even a couple of hours between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM would be a big help.
No special expertise is required — just an interest in Preserve Lewisboro and a willingness to greet visitors, hand out materials, and help people learn more about what we’re doing.
If you’re interested in helping, please email info@preservelewisboro.org and let us know what time you may be available.
Learn the facts. Stay informed. Get involved.
