Why We Are Concerned

The proposed subdivision of the approximately 15-acre Reynolds property at 831 Route 35 calls for 14 residential lots, a private internal road, individual wells and septic systems, stormwater infrastructure, and substantial clearing and grading.

Preserve Lewisboro is not opposed to responsible development. Our concern is whether a project of this scale and density can be accommodated on this particular property without causing significant and lasting effects on its natural resources, neighboring residents, nearby protected lands, and the wider Cross River community.

The proposal deserves a thorough, independent, and transparent review of the following issues.
